Merry Christmas! Ideas for you and your Pilates lover

As December brings 2025 to a close, I was thinking about what to make the 2025 final blog about. Thank you all that I have taken the time to read our blogs and visit our website. Writing blogs has become one of my favorite parts of running our small studio. I figured that we could have a little fun with this one.

Do you have a Pilates lover, maybe your family needs ideas for you, or maybe you want to give your fabulous instructor a gift. Never fear, I have curated a list for you with all the links. I am like your personal Amazon. Here we go:

  1. Grip socks. Great stocking stuffer! Bombas offers grip socks for men and women. (Hint, hint to your husband!) Tavi Active. Super grippy socks and their sight offers so many other great clothing accessories such as leg warmers for the bold and many other clothing options for the studio. If you want something a little more artsy, Lucky Honey has amazing designs.

  2. Clothing: Can’t go wrong with a Lululemon giftcard. Some other favorite brands coming in hot: Free People Movement, Vuori, Strut This (a little more bold), and the classic Old Navy and Target (Unbeatable prices but always looks good!) Believe it or  not, capri leggings are back in, crew socks and wraps are popular.

  3. Some favorite accessories to keep up with their practice at home. Online subscription to Pilates Anytime. (Only $22/ month) A mat. There are so many options when it comes to mats. For Pilates, we recommend a little  more cushion than a Yoga mat for all those rollovers. A raised mat from Balanced Body is the ultimate mat! At the studio, we use Manduka. Other favorite tools are the Spinefitter from Sissel (duh!) balls, fabric resistant bands and of course the magic circle. Pick up all of these for the ultimate at home Pilates experience.

  4. Other thoughts: Lesley Logan’s Pilates Flashcards. I am obsessed! She offers tutorial videos and pictures with each card. They are portable, so you will never have a reason to not continue your Pilates.

  5. Specifically for your instructor: Coffee Gift cards to keep us going for you! Dash, Uptown, Kismet are some of our faves.

Phew! And, I am sure that the list could go on and on. That is the danger when you start to dive deeper into your practice. You should see my Pilates room at my house. It keeps growing and growing. Cheers and Merry Christmas! We will catch you in 2026.
